Interior work ~ April 5, 2011

Sorry – been traveling a lot lately, and the house project has been halted. But -back now. Working on interior walls. Taping all plastic, and taping the inside of the window frames to the interior plastic. Working on electrical and plumbing. Seems to be taking forever.

Mechanicals, plumbing, and mini splits ~ April 27, 2011

Will I ever remember where it all is?? I just finished all electrical, plumbing, gas, and minisplit line sets… in the perimeter walls. Then i will bury them in another 5″ of cellulose. The minisplit line sets weren’t too bad. This is a case of – over educated moron will attempt to install his own heat pump. Wish me luck

Wet spray dense pack cellulose ~ April 27, 2011

whoa.. now this was fun. They arrived at 8:30 and left at 4. SPRAYed all of the perimeter wall – 5″! Making my wall now an R45 total (with the ICF). COOL Buried all ‘stuff’ .. never to be seen again (electrical/plumbing). Hope i got everything i ever wanted.. forever. OH – and when they left the relative humidity in there was 80%. I will dry out the house for a week now, before drywall
