After preliminary site excavation is complete… we bring in the crew to set the form-a-drains and pour the footers

Begin ICF ~ August 10, 2010

We are going to do the wall in three pours… First pour will get the ICF up 32″.. just above the slab grade. This way, we can backfill and level the inside.

ICF – Second phase ~ August 18, 2010

After the first 32″ ‘stem wall’ pour, we backfill and level the inside. Now, the next 9 feet of ICF.

Septic Tank ~ August 25, 2010

I’m out of town a few miles.. so I have a septic system… First I had to have a “soil survey”, followed by a detailed plan drawn up by my installer (back of napkin thing)… Then we had to lay the system out on the ground, with elevations… and have the health dept come out and take a look. After this all happens, I fill out some papers, and pay the permit fee… I get a permit. My system is an aeration system (1500 gallon concrete tank) and 410 feet of leach. The leach is 24″ chambers… four lines.
