We are building on the garage. 2″ foam under the slab… and I will cover the exterior in insulation, carry it down to meet the foam under the slab… somewhat thermal bridge free….! The garage will be more efficient than most houses in town

Yes.. just putting this up. I TRIED to make the instant water heater work… but it DID NOT. Too much resistance for the pump to push the water fast enough. Else- it would have worked. I ended up with a 10 gallon- 2 kW hot water tank… works fine. Heat the whole house… with a 2kW 10 gallon tank.. Quite impressive. Sorry- need to find a pic of that tank…. not these
